Support and community channels for Digily Link on a phone

Support routes for Digily Link, from the contact form and this blog to the API reference and the community channels on Telegram, WhatsApp and Instagram, plus what to include in a message so it is answered quickly.

This page used to be a short list of three channel links. It has grown into the full map of where to find answers, because most questions we receive are already answered somewhere and the fastest support is knowing where to look. Here is the order that works.

Start with the documentation

The Guides category of this blog covers the questions that come up most. Custom domain connection documentation has the DNS records for Cloudflare, cPanel, DirectAdmin and Plesk. What is deep linking explains why some links open an app and some do not. Advanced link redirection covers targeting by country, device and language. The domains page lists the 15 branded domains with examples, and the plans page is the source for limits and prices. Developers will find every endpoint on the API documentation page, which is the only authoritative reference for the API.

Contact the team

For anything about your account, a payment, a domain that will not activate or a feature that behaves unexpectedly, use the contact page. Messages are read by a person and normally answered the same working day, UK hours. If you are reporting a link or page that breaks the rules, use the Report a Violation form on the report page instead, which reaches the review team directly and does not need an account.

A message that can be acted on straight away contains:

  • the email address of the account;
  • the exact address of the link, page or domain concerned;
  • what you expected to happen and what happened instead;
  • a screenshot if there is an error on screen;
  • the device and browser, if the problem is on one phone but not another.

Never include your password. Nobody on the team will ask for it, and a message that contains one is deleted.

Community channels

Announcements go out on three channels at the same time, so follow whichever you already use. On Telegram the channel is t.me/digilylink. On WhatsApp there is a Digily Link channel, found by searching for Digily Link in the Channels tab. On Instagram the account is @digily.link. The channels carry new features, new tools and domains, planned maintenance windows and short tips. They are not a support inbox; questions about your account belong on the contact page, where they can be answered privately.

Help yourself in a minute with the tools

The 126 free tools on the site answer many support questions before they are asked. Four of them do most of the work.

  • The DNS lookup shows whether the record for a custom domain has actually reached the internet.
  • The URL redirect checker shows every hop a short link takes, which settles most "my link goes to the wrong place" questions.
  • The Safe URL checker tells you whether a destination is on a known threat list, which is the usual reason a link was disabled.
  • The meta tags checker shows the title, description and image a page presents when it is shared, which is what the SEO settings of a bio page control.

The statistics in the dashboard answer the other common question, "is anyone clicking", with referrers, countries and devices per link.

Product updates

New blocks, new tools, new domains and changes to plans are announced on the channels first and written up here on the blog when they need more than a paragraph. Planned maintenance is announced in advance on the channels with the expected window. Prices and limits change rarely, and the plans page is always the current version; blog posts that mention prices give the date they were checked.

Quick answers to the most common questions

  • My custom domain is still pending. Check the record with the DNS lookup and compare it with the Connect domain screen; the how-to is in how to add your own domain.
  • My link opens the browser, not the app. Switch on "auto open app on mobile" in the link settings and test from inside Instagram, as explained in the deep linking guide.
  • I see clicks I did not expect. One or two visits just after creating a link are the review team; see how links are kept safe.
  • Where is the QR code for my link? In the QR code generator, choose the URL type and paste the short link. The code keeps working when the destination changes.
  • Can I change my page's username? Yes, but old links stop working, so share a short link to the page instead. The digily.bio guide explains.
  • How do I put several links behind one? Build a bio link page, as in putting multiple links behind one link.
  • Which plan do I need? The plans page lists every limit. Most single-profile accounts stay on Free until they want their own domain.

Frequently asked questions

Is there telephone support?

No. Support is by the contact form and email, which keeps a written record of what was agreed and lets the team look at the account while answering.

Can I write in a language other than English?

Yes. The site is published in 27 languages and messages in any of them are welcome. Replies are in English or with a translation.

Where do I report a bug?

On the contact page, with the steps to reproduce it, the address involved and a screenshot. Bugs that affect many users are announced on the channels when they are fixed.

How do I delete my account?

From the account settings in the dashboard. Deleting the account removes its pages, links, QR codes and statistics, so export anything you want to keep first.

Can an agency get help setting up white labelling?

Yes. White labelling and custom branding are on the Pro plan, and the contact page is the place to ask about a setup that involves several client domains.

Final checks before you send a message

  • You have searched this blog and the plans page for the answer.
  • The message includes the account email and the exact address concerned.
  • It says what you expected and what happened.
  • A screenshot is attached if there was an error on screen.
  • It does not contain your password.
