The 16 types and what they do
URL codes open a web address. Phone, SMS, email, WhatsApp and FaceTime codes start a call or a message with your details filled in. Wi-Fi codes join a network without typing the password. vCard codes save a contact to the phone, calendar codes add an event, and location codes open a map. Payment codes cover PayPal, UPI, EPC (SEPA bank transfer), PIX and crypto. The QR code reader shows exactly what any code contains, useful for checking a printed proof.
Make it look like yours
Set the code color or a gradient, add a background, drop your logo in the center, choose a frame with text such as "Scan for the menu" and pick square, rounded or dotted styles for the modules and the corner eyes. Keep the code darker than its background, leave a clear margin around it and print it at least 20 mm across on a card and larger on a window, and it will scan first time. Static or dynamic
A static code holds its data inside the pattern. It works offline and never depends on a website, but it cannot be changed or counted, and a long address makes a dense code. A dynamic code holds a short link, so the pattern stays simple, the destination can change at any time and every scan appears in the statistics. Codes by the batch
Bulk generation creates one code per line of input, for example one per table, per product or per member of staff, up to 5 per batch on the free plan, 25 on Starter and 50 on Pro. Pair each with its own short link and the statistics show which table, product or person the scans came from.

Is the QR code generator free?

Will a code keep working if I change the destination?
If the code points at a Digily Link short link, yes. Edit the short link and the printed code follows. A code that holds a fixed address cannot be changed after printing.
Which file format should I send to the printer?
SVG. It scales to any size without losing sharpness. Use PNG for websites, presentations and social posts.
Can I see how many people scanned a code?
Every scan of a code that points at a short link is counted, with date, device, country and city. Codes that hold a fixed address cannot be counted, because nothing on the internet is involved when they are scanned.
